About VMR

Village Man Records (VMR) was born in 2016 when two creative souls, Loyalton and Joulez Nuklear, crossed paths in the kitchens of Savannah, GA. United by their love of hip-hop, they bonded over grueling shifts, often rapping along to albums like Kendrick Lamar's DAMN.

As immigrants from small villages on opposite sides of the world, their shared experiences forged a deep friendship. Inspired by their roots and the power of music, they began creating together—producing and recording tracks in a humble bedroom studio alongside other talented artists. Their collective energy came alive at house parties, where they debuted their music to captivated audiences.

The name "Village Man Records" was sparked by a lyric in their track Earthy Cats, where Loyalton rapped, "I am the image of a freed-up village man." That line became their mantra, reflecting their journey of self-expression, freedom, and pride in their heritage.

Today, Village Man Records continues to be a home for authentic, boundary-pushing music and creative content, representing a global perspective grounded in raw artistry.
